Three Months of Intensive Care to Restore Health, Condition and Vitality
Winter can be particularly challenging for elderly horses, poor doers, and those recovering from illness or a difficult season. Loss of weight, muscle tone and condition can take months to recover without careful management.
Our Spring Recovery & Conditioning Programme is a specialist three-month rehabilitation programme, designed to help horses regain condition safely and steadily by combining expert nutritional management with the benefits of carefully managed spring grazing.
This is not simply grazing livery—it is an intensive, professionally managed programme focused on improving your horse’s health, body condition and overall wellbeing.

Our Philosophy
Our objective is not rapid weight gain, but a gradual, sustainable improvement in body condition, muscle tone and overall health.
Every horse is managed as an individual, recognising that successful rehabilitation requires patience, consistency and experienced care. By combining carefully balanced nutrition, quality grazing and close daily observation, we aim to help each horse leave the programme stronger, healthier and better prepared for the months ahead.
Ideal For
This programme is particularly suitable for:
Programme Duration
The programme is a fixed three-month placement, allowing sufficient time for meaningful improvement while making the very best use of the spring grazing season.
At the end of the programme, we will provide guidance to help owners maintain their horse’s improved condition once they return home.
Limited Availability
To ensure every horse receives the individual attention this programme demands, places are strictly limited each spring. Early booking is therefore strongly recommended.
